1. General provisions

This privacy policy explains how Individual Entrepreneur Maria Vyacheslavovna Ubushieva (the “Operator”) processes and protects personal data collected through https://us.gaijin-alien.com.

The Operator respects the privacy of website visitors and processes personal data only for the purposes described in this policy.

2. Data we process

2.1. We may process a customer’s name, email address, telephone number, shipping address, order contents, payment status and communications with the Operator.

2.2. Stripe processes payments. The website does not receive or store complete payment-card details.

2.3. Vercel and Supabase may process technical information required to operate and secure the website, including request information, IP address and server logs.

2.4. When a customer subscribes to updates, we process the email address submitted through the subscription form.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

3.1. Personal data is used to create and fulfil orders, process payments, arrange delivery, send order confirmations, answer customer enquiries, prevent abuse and comply with applicable legal obligations.

3.2. Marketing updates are sent only when a visitor submits the subscription form. A subscriber may opt out at any time by contacting alextomskypr@gmail.com.

3.3. Depending on the circumstances, processing is based on performance of a contract, the visitor’s consent, compliance with legal obligations or the Operator’s legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website.

4. Service providers

The Operator uses Vercel for website hosting, Supabase for secure order storage, Stripe for payment processing and Resend for transactional and subscription email. These providers receive only the data needed to perform their services and may process data in other countries under their applicable safeguards.

5. Browser storage and cookies

The website saves cart, favourites, preferences and acknowledgement of the storage notice in the browser. The selected store region is not saved in cookies or localStorage: the selector appears whenever the homepage is opened or refreshed, except checkout returns and links that open the cart or favourites. The region can also be changed in the header. Previously stored region preferences are removed when the site loads if browser settings allow it; they do not affect whether the selector appears.

The website uses a country code supplied by Vercel from the request IP to suggest a region. The suggestion never redirects the visitor or changes a confirmed choice. Region dialog views and selections, with detected country, recommended region and selected region, are sent to website runtime logs to verify the selector. These events contain no IP address, name, contact information, order data or persistent visitor identifier. Log availability depends on hosting settings and plan. The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Stripe may use strictly necessary cookies on its secure checkout page.

6. Retention and security

6.1. Personal data is retained only for as long as needed to fulfil orders, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the Operator’s legitimate interests.

6.2. The Operator and its service providers use appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss.

7. Your rights and contact

Visitors may request access to, correction of or deletion of their personal data, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, by emailing alextomskypr@gmail.com. Some information may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate business records.

8. International transfers and updates

Personal data may be processed outside the visitor’s country by the service providers named above. The Operator takes reasonable steps to use providers that maintain appropriate data-protection safeguards. This policy may be updated when the website or its providers change.
